Labyrinths

The precise architectural tradition of labyrinth is what the Renaissance inherited; and later, in turn, was passed down to us through Romantic imagery, into cinema, consumer planning, computer games, psychoanalytical theory. The labyrinth was an interactive journey with subplots, but all of it could be condensed into a single room, on a single sheet of paper, or on less than an acre.
